TDBC and Liberation Roasting Co. collaborating on beer

We're thrilled to share that we've been crafting up a new beer recipe! In collaboration with Liberation Roasting Company, we plan to brew a Coffee Porter featuring Nicaraguan coffee beans roasted locally in Indianapolis. This Coffee Porter will make its debut on Saturday, March 18th at the Water for Empowerment's World Water Day Celebration event. It will be released in the TapRoom the following Tuesday.

Presently, we have brewed two pilot batches of the Coffee Porter. One 10-gal batch will feature the Nicaragua Don Isidro Yellows coffee beans and the other will feature the Nicaragua Darling Catuai Microlot coffee beans.  Both beans have their unique and individual tasting notes. Once both beers are done and kegged up, we'll put the two versions on tap in the TapRoom for you all to test out with us. We are aiming for the week of January 24th — we'll keep you in the know!

UPDATE: We will tap both pilot batches of the Coffee Porter on Tuesday, January 31st in the TapRoom.
